On Saturday the 4th of May 2019 the streets, laneways and footpaths of Fremantle will come alive as a line up of the cities best venues open their doors, transforming into the the ultimate self-guided cellar door experience.

Promising another fresh, self-guided wine tasting experience, Urban Wine Walk is an afternoon out you and your friends won't want to miss! You'll enjoy unique experiences at a hand picked selection of local bars and restaurants whilst of course sampling wines from the best wine producers Australia has to offer without leaving the city!

EVENT ADMISSION / WRISTBAND COLLECTION
Event wristbands, tasting glasses & vouchers will need to be collected at one of the following locations prior to commencing the Urban Wine Walk.

EVENT EVE COLLECTION - Friday 3rd May (4-6pm) - Neighbourhood Events Co - 384 Newcastle St, West Perth
EVENT DAY COLLECTION - Saturday 4th May (11-1pm) - Federal Hotel - 23 William St, Fremantle

Please bring a valid ID and copies of your tickets as these will be scanned prior to receiving your items.

One of the best things about Urban Wine Walk is that it's self guided! That means you can go where you want, when you want! Your afternoon adventure is completely up to you!

Mazza Wines is delighted to announce our first wine dinner of the year at the fantastic Meeka Restaurant in Subiaco, Perth.

David Mazza takes guests on a great wine adventure tasting seven Mazza wines made from Spanish and Portuguese varieties he grows near Donnybrook, WA. The wines are carefully matched with delicious plates created by Meeka’s head chef, Leah Clarke.

Prawns to start followed by Duck Parfait, Spatchcock Roulade, Wood Fire Lamb and finishing with one of Leah's delicious desserts.

Wine highlights of the night -

- The evening begins with our now sold-out 2018 Bastardo Rosé kept aside especially for our Meeka dinner.

- Experience a decade of difference between our 2007 and 2017 Tempranillo.

- Compare our two new release 2017 Touriga Nacional wines - one is made with whole bunches added to the ferment. Which will be your favourite?

- Proudly presenting our delicious 2014 Cinque - our highest scoring wine ever at 96 points.

- Finishing as we began - back to the Bastardo in a completely different guise. As a vintage-port-style wine fortified with an excellent quality spirit, locally distilled from our own grapes.

With over 40 tasting booths, and over 250 wines available to sample, the 2019 University Club Wine Show by the Bay will have something for everyone.
